Robert Kirkland
Robert Kirtland ’91 was promoted to Colonel, United States Army Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps on June 13, 2021. During the same ceremony presided over by Brigadier General William B. Dyer III, Commander, United States Army Reserve Legal Command, Col. Kirtland assumed command of the 9th Legal Operations Detachment, an Army Reserve unit headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, with teams located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Inkster, Michigan.

Andromana D. Behrens-Price
Andromana D. Behrens-Price ’91 received the Spirit of Public Health Award through the Wisconsin Public Health Association. Since graduating from Valpo with a bachelor of arts in psychology, she has received a BSN and become a public health nurse and registered sanitarian. She is currently pursuing a master of public health from Kent State University. It is through education and faith that she is able to pursue her passion.

Robert Kirtland
Kelly Wood ’89 Mitchell, Indiana state treasurer, and LTC Robert Kirtland ’91, lead soldiers counsel, Fort Knox, Kentucky, graduated from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on July 27, 2018 with master’s degrees in strategic studies. The rigorous two-year course of study combines in-residence and distance learning to develop senior military officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as senior foreign military officers and civilian officials from a variety of federal and state agencies, to serve in strategic-level command and staff positions worldwide.
