William Satterlee
William Satterlee ’66 J.D. was honored by Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable for his decades of service to the organization. He was a practicing attorney for nearly 50 years in Northwest Indiana, formerly of Hoeppner, Wagner & Evans LLP, and joined the business roundtable at its founding and served as its counsel for many years.

Frederick Stutz
Frederick Stutz ’66, Ph.D., retired after teaching college geography for 50 years. Frederick taught at Northwestern University, Michigan State University, and San Diego State University. He has published six bestselling college textbooks and has done contract work for five U.S. government agencies. Two of Frederick’s children are full-time pastors, and he operates a campus ministry at both San Diego State University and the University of California. Frederick plays either golf or tennis each day in San Diego. He is thankful for his time at Valpo, which he considers “the best years of [his] life!”
Steve Brophy
Steve Brophy ’66, ’69 J.D. was honored on May 13, 2017, by the Selective Service System for 20 years of voluntary service as the Fairfax, Virginia, deputy chairman of the Selective Service System local office. Steve served in the Air Force JAG Corps for two years, the Navy for five years, and the United States Coast Guard for 35 years. He has 62 years of federal service.
