Pamela Kay Alderman
Pamela Kay Alderman ’69 wishes to express how her studies in biology and English literature taught her critical thinking and knowledge of the research process.

Dale LeFevre
Dale LeFevre ’69 traveled to Montenegro for two weeks in June to teach New Games, which are interactive, cooperative games designed to bring diverse groups of people together. He concluded his stay with a New Games leadership workshop. Dale has now traveled to 34 countries to provide instruction in New Games. He applied for a grant at Sheffield Hallam University to start more in-depth research into New Games to evaluate their effect on students in regard to their developmental and social skills as well as their academic performance.

Chuck Boerger
Chuck Boerger ’69 was inducted into Concordia University’s Athletic Hall of Fame in June 2017 in recognition of his contributions as the head basketball and baseball coach. Chuck served on the Ann Arbor campus from 1981 to 1991. He and his wife, Jane Deterding ’72 Boerger, are both retired teachers. They have 11 grandchildren and currently reside in Anchorage, Alaska.

Fred Deans
Fred Deans ’69 was named the 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award winner by the Automotive Division of the Society of Plastics Engineers. The Society of Plastics Engineers is a global society that supports education in the plastics industry. Fred is currently the chief marketing officer, co-founder, and principal of Allied Composites Technologies LLC (ACT) as well as the owner of F. Deans & Associates, a Michigan-based enterprise.

Stan Turney
Stan Turney ’69 retired from Terracon Consultants in 2013 after 40 years of consulting within the engineering practice. He spends time golfing, traveling, and visiting his granddaughters in California and Colorado.
