Kimberly R. Taylor Oostman

Kimberly R. Taylor ’89 Oostman homeschooled three children from kindergarten through high school. She enjoys being active, having completed a marathon and triathlon, climbed several mountains in New Mexico and Colorado, and played polo on horseback. Kimberly is currently earning her Ph.D. in communications from the University of New Mexico. She has published articles and has been invited to talk at several conferences. And, in 2015, Kimberly spoke about refurbishing her life at a TEDx event.

Kathleen Allen

Kathleen Allen ’89 J.D. was named chief executive officer of Catholic Charities West Michigan. She had been serving as vice chair of the nonprofit human service agency’s board of directors and is a staff attorney for Legal Aid of Western Michigan in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she has worked for more than 20 years. Kathleen has a long history of legal work with disadvantaged families.

Lisa Bailey Singleton

Lisa Bailey Singleton ’89 is now serving as senior advisor, corporate communications, for ExxonMobil. Lisa previously spent seven years as a director at the Brunswick Group; six years as vice president, corporate communications, of TXU Corp.; five years as director, corporate communications, for American Airlines; and nine years as director, corporate communications, for Midwest Express Airlines

Kelly Wood Mitchell

Kelly Wood ’89 Mitchell, Indiana state treasurer, and LTC Robert Kirtland ’91, lead soldiers counsel, Fort Knox, Kentucky, graduated from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on July 27, 2018 with master’s degrees in strategic studies. The rigorous two-year course of study combines in-residence and distance learning to develop senior military officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard, as well as senior foreign military officers and civilian officials from a variety of federal and state agencies, to serve in strategic-level command and staff positions worldwide.

Kelly Mitchell

Kelly Mitchell ’89 was sworn in as Indiana treasurer of state in November.
