Sherrie “Sher” Hazlett Hunt

Sherrie “Sher” Hazlett ’79 Hunt completed the coursework and has been certified as a Master Gardener through the University of Minnesota Extension. Sher also celebrated 10 years as a volunteer member of Eden Prairie Community Emergency Response Team. She and husband Chris Hunt ’78 J.D. reside in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. They have two children and three grandchildren.

Beth Eser Wrobel

Beth Eser ’79 Wrobel was honored at the Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce’s Salute to Leadership event January 18 as the 2017 Distinguished Community Leader. The Distinguished Community Leader award is the highest honor bestowed upon an individual by the Chamber and is given to a person who demonstrates leadership, prowess in promoting and developing business, and community involvement. Beth is the CEO of HealthLinc Inc., a health care group that operates 10 clinics in five counties.

Peter Haas

Peter Haas ’79 co-authored the book “Applied Policy Research: Concepts and Cases” (2nd Ed.), which was recently published by Routledge. It updates and expands upon the first edition of the textbook, published in 1998. In August 2017, Peter retired from San Jose State University (SJSU), where he taught for 30 years. Most recently, he served as the education director at the Mineta Transportation Institute and as a professor in the School of Global Innovation and Leadership at SJSU.

Dayna Limperes Guido

Dayna Limperes ’79 Guido published “The Parental Tool Box for Parents and Clinicians.” She lives in Asheville, North Carolina, and wrote the book with her husband, Jim, with whom she works and plays.
