Wilneeda A. Emmanuel ’12 J.D. was featured in the 2012 Black Women’s Roundtable Annual Report as a contributing author with her essay, “Reclaiming and Reimagining Our Time by Tithing on Our Time.”

JR Engineering, a Colorado engineering and surveying firm, welcomed Daniel R. Clark ’12, PE, as a new principal of the firm. Daniel continues his responsibilities as a group lead for JR’s Land Development Group for its Colorado Springs, Golden, and Fort Collins offices. He joined JR Engineering in 2012 and focuses on design and construction of public roadways, water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer improvements.

Amber Kratochvil ’12 was named director of perioperative services at the University of Chicago in May 2022. In her new role, Amber will have full oversight of all operations of the sixth floor of the Center for Care and Discovery. Amber has been a part of UChicago Medicine since late 2013 and has transitioned over the years from an operating room nurse and member of the transplant team into various levels of leadership.

Alyson Raabe ’12 Jones was married in November 2018. Her father, Craig Raabe ’85 and his parents Audrey MacLachlan ’59 Raabe and William Raabe ’59, also attended Valpo. Other alumni in attendance include Madelyn Horvath ’12, Kelsey Gatza ’12, Julie Johnson ’12, ’15 J.D. Weller, Andrew Weller ’12, and Augusta McKie, an exchange student from Cambridge who studied at Valpo in 2011. The group became close while studying abroad as part of C-86. Alyson’s father, Craig, also studied abroad in Cambridge

Mary Fazio ’12 completed her DNP at Chamberlain College of Nursing in April 2020.
