And so, my friends, here you are. Newly minted Valpo grads, dressed and dazzling, and ready to take on the great big world. Your light, your character, your integrity, and your wisdom can be a gift to that world. It will be hard work. And it will take the rest of your life.

You have power, you can change things, regardless of your situation.

We are truly excited to welcome Valparaiso University to our family. Valpo brings a combination of strong athletics tradition and academic excellence, and will be a great fit competing in our league.

At Valpo, I’ve been given the space to grow. I’ve been pushed in places I didn’t want to be pushed and challenged to go beyond.

Learn from your mistakes. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. We all make mistakes. In fact, they make us better.

With our collective strength, we can fight the temptation to fear by being a community that chooses to hear. We just might find that the inspiration we seek, to heal and to hope, exists in our very midst. That’s what it means to be a Valpo family. Together we are forever Valpo.
